We’re excited to introduce our refreshed online space! While you’ll notice familiar features, everything now has a new look and some exciting features to make your role easier.
This guide will walk you through the key steps to activate your account, explore your dashboard, and get the most out of the new site.
For walk organisers
Step 1: Activate your account
- Head to heartfoundationwalking.com.au
- Click Login, then Forgot password?
- Follow instructions in your email to set a new password. Your account is now active!
Step 2: Explore your dashboard
Click on your name in the top right-hand corner and select My dashboard. From here, you’ll access your Walk Organiser Dashboard, which links to your group(s) dashboards.What you’ll find in your walk organiser dashboard:
- An overview of your group(s)
- Your walk organiser achievement badges
- Walker and walk organiser resources
- View walker details (including emergency contacts)
- Record attendance with the digital register
- Edit your group details
- Report incidents
Step 3: Update your group information
Click View group page and take a moment to check that your group’s details are correct. You’ll see we’ve added a few new fields to help people get to know you and your walking group a little better:- Primary walk organiser photo and bio
- Additional group details such as terrain and socialising info
- Group photo and description (this will replace the default image and text under the ‘Why walk with us?’ section under the map)
To update, go to My dashboard > Your group > Edit group
Step 4: Grab your new URL and promo materials
- Each group has a unique URL – perfect for sharing!
- You’ll also find updated flyers, posters, and digital resources in the ‘Organiser resources’ section
- Grab a QR code from the ‘Invite a Friend’ page
Step 5: Familiarise yourself with new processes
Visit the ‘Organiser resources’ section for demo videos on:- Editing group details
- Recording attendance
- Registering ‘offline walkers’ - those walkers who want to sign up in person
- Emailing your group
- Adding a secondary walk organiser
Step 6: Clean up your walker list
Now’s a great time to tidy up! Remove any walkers or walk organisers who are no longer walking with your group.

Visit the ‘Organiser resources’ section of your dashboard to access everything you need to support your group and grow your confidence in the role. Here’s what you’ll find:- Essential reading and tip sheets to help you run and manage your walking group effectively
- Support materials like the offline walker registration form and certificates templates
- Promotional materials like flyers and social media graphics
- Short, practical videos to help you learn how to use the dashboard
- Whether you're just starting out or looking to refresh your skills, this resource section is your go-to for practical support.

For local coordinators
