Why walk with us?

Our group is known as SWEAT (Sydney Walk Eat and Talk). We have been walking with the Heart Foundation since 2013. We are 140 active walkers from all over Sydney. We are mostly retired. We walk on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month. Every walk is different, from 5-10km long, usually on flat terrain, covering bush, harbour foreshores, coasts and suburban areas. Many of us come from South-East Asia. We love walking, socialising and sharing food together at the end of our walks. We walk from February to November each year and have a two month summer break.
