Why walk with us?
We walk Thursdays and Sundays ranging from 1 to 2 hours and 5kms to 10kms. Our walks are scheduled via a monthly newsletter to members. The schedule includes a variety of flat walks and hills for a view. Some walks are local and some are out of town. Starting times range from 8:00am to 10:00am and this changes with the seasons. Remember when walking; have breakfast, wear appropriate clothing, footwear and weather protection, plus bring; drink, snack, own first aid requirements and walking poles if required for hills. As a courtesy, ensure that you RSVP before attending so that the coordinator expects your attendance and notifies you if the walk is changed or cancelled. We are kind, caring, considerate and encourage one another.
