Why walk with us?

Warners Bay Walking for Pleasure has been going for more than 20 years and caters for retirees in their 60s, 70s and 80s who enjoy walking and socialising. We meet weekly, Monday mornings and walk about 5 to 7 km, generally on near-flat terrain, sometimes with some stairs or inclines but generally easy walking. Around 2 out of 3 walks are in the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie area at different locations. For the remainder we travel usually to Sydney or the Central Coast by train and enjoy the walk variety that these areas offer. We quite regularly will have lunch together for those who like to stay a bit longer.
